Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church declared its independence

The Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church adopted amendments to the charter on the management of the UOC, which mean its complete independence and independence. The decision was published on the website of the church.

In addition, the Council expressed disagreement with the position of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia regarding the situation in Ukraine and called on the countries to continue the negotiation process.

The Council set the task not to leave without the spiritual care of the Ukrainians who left the country in recent months.

The clergy also offer the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine to resume dialogue.

Earlier, Patriarch Kirill said that accusations against him from the West are that he allegedly delivers “militarist speeches” are nonsense.
