«Release Dmitry Olegovich Rogozin from the post of General Director of the State Corporation for Space Activities «Roscosmos»,— said in the text of Putin's decree.

Decree on the appointment of Borisov as the general director of Roskosmos entered into force on the day of signing. He oversaw space and the defense industry in the government, plans to appoint him head of Roskosmos instead of Rogozin, RBC sources reported in mid-July.

Earlier, on July 11, it became known that the State Duma deputies were returning from vacation for an extraordinary meeting on July 15. On July 12, Putin increased the number of vice-premiers from ten to 11, and Denis Manturov, Minister of Trade and Industry, became the new deputy prime minister. The State Duma approved his candidacy on July 15. After that, the president, by his decree, reduced the number of deputy prime ministers from 11 to ten.
